A Humble Note

I haven’t even written any New Year’s greeting like other bloggers do. So I’ll do it very briefly, only for as the writing ritual. Ok, like everybody may does, there’s always a slight regret about the past. But let’s face it by listing good things that happened last year to douse you with gratitude. As for me, this list is including… well, I can say it was a beautiful year in all aspects of my life. I got something, I lost something, two sides of the coin. This year was where I came very active again, I worked in a good place on a good job, with good workmates (my dear friends), had my birthday on a duty trip to Pulau Pramuka after years not coming back (that’s how I felt being home again), had my first dive in Bali in awesome Tulamben waters, and that was my last assignment being an environmental journalist which adds its awesomeness, plus, I got my writing published in Intisari magazine from that reportage. Then I quit that job (also a good thing, so I can start a new) and burned the bridge, I celebrate this freedom by a trip to Bali and Lombok with super good friends, followed by a trip to Malang which I called it a “rejeki anak solehah” trip haha. And to close the year, I had made a decision about something personal, it’s a right thing to do and I proud of myself. After that, my sister was coming home from Aussie after two years there, was so happy to have her here again. It is definitely a new adventure then, my time to fly.

And it’s already almost half of the year. Then, yeah let’s just skip those four last months stories. There’s no dramatic changes in my life, yet I know I’m on the right track somehow. I feel content with this kind of life, I got some new viewpoint along the way (but keep trying to pursue this and that for a better tomorrow :D). I do things I couldn’t do last year, I can manage to concentrate to what I want now. I hope all goes well.
